fun, fast weekend in texas

On Thursday night,Jay myself adam allison and marc jumped in the truck and drove to texas. We arrived on friday night and went to dinner at our favorite mexican restaurant. Then home to start the packing/cleaning up of our texas home. I have to say it was kind of bittersweet. we built it ourselves and raised our family there. many memories to cherish. it was wonderful to go to sunday dinner with the family again. i love to remember those times too. on sunday we were able to visit our old ward and see many great friends. then sunday afternoon we gathered for my nephews baptism. What a special day. Marc was able to do the baptism.We will certainly miss the home and family there but we also look forward to the new start
