Well It seems the family has dodged another one with out too much discomfort. I can say that, because I am here in Wyoming this time in 70 degrees and sunshine.And I did not spend the night listening to 80 mph winds. Hurricane Ike was very widespread and did alot of damage to Galveston and Houston but I am happy to say my family is ok. Just a little hot with no air conditioning and no power. Our prayers have been answered once again. Here is a picture I got from my sister-in-law of her back yard. We love you family.

Another good reason to be living in Wyoming. I'm glad to hear your family is Ok. Our thoughts and prayers have been with those in the hurricane areas. I have a cousin in Houston that headed to Florida until things clear. It is a relief to hear they are all OK...
